Product Visualization & Lifestyle Compositing

Full-Range Lifestyle Visuals for Philips Soundbars + TVs — B5109 & B5309 Series

Project Overview

Philips asked me to bring together seven different TVs and two soundbars into a unified lifestyle photo series—without ever stepping into a photo studio.

Using only Photoshop, raw product imagery, and a creative direction aligned with Philips' brand tone, I designed a complete suite of lifestyle scenes that combine:

TV Models:

  • Philips 5500
  • 6000
  • 6900
  • 7000
  • 8000
  • 8500
  • MiniLED 810 (MLED810)

Soundbars:

  • B5109
  • B5309

The goal? Build photorealistic visuals that feel captured, not composited—and make each combo look like it belongs in a modern, livable home.

PHOTOSHOP STEPS

Creative Objectives

  • Make every image feel authentic, aspirational, and brand-aligned
  • Create visuals optimized for ecommerce, paid media, and in-store displays

My Approach

I handled all creative direction, Photoshop compositing, styling, and retouching.

Scene Design

Each room was designed to reflect the positioning of each product tier:

  • 5500 & 6000: clean, practical spaces with daylight tones
  • 6900 to 8500: modern family rooms with warm, balanced styling
  • MLED810: premium environment with dark mood, light control, and cinematic vibes

Photoshop Craftsmanship

  • Matched product scale, texture, and ambient shadows for each pairing
  • Retouched bezels, screen reflections, and surface lighting to mimic studio photography
  • Added functional Ambiglow effects on higher-tier models where applicable
  • Ensured perfect alignment between TV and soundbar placement—even when combining SKUs across series lines

✔️ 14 photorealistic lifestyle visuals delivered
✔️ All shots built from scratch using Photoshop only — no renders, no real sets

What I Learned

Designing for so many product variations taught me to scale my visual workflow without losing realism. I also sharpened my:

  • Brand-layered thinking — adapting lighting, tone, and set styling to match product tiers
  • Photoshop discipline — pushing photorealism to the edge of believability without falling into “rendered” aesthetics
  • Retail-first design mindset — every visual was crafted to help someone imagine this product in their space

This project wasn’t just about images. It was about building trust in a product—through pixels.
